ACTpro EM1030e Mullion Proximity Reader 

The ACTpro EM1030e is a compact mullion reader for use with RFID cards and fobs. It forms part of the ACTpro system and works with compatible door controllers and door stations for secure access across your site.

With an IP66 rating, it is suitable for both internal and external doors. The narrow design makes it ideal for installations where space is limited or a discreet reader is required.

Choose the Right Credential for ACT Proximity Card and Fob Reader

This ACT prox reader supports a range of credential types to suit how your building is used:

  • Proximity cards can be attached to lanyards
  • Key fobs for convenient everyday access are attached to keys
  • HID-compatible credentials 

For sites where code-based access is preferred, the EM1050e ACT reader with keypad can be used instead and provides both PIN and proximity access. 

Integration with ACTpro Access Control Systems

The EM1030e connects to ACTpro controllers such as the 1500 or door stations like the 100.

  • Maximum cable distance up to 100m at 12V DC
  • Supports parallel connection for entry and exit readers
  • Requires a screened cable to connect to the controller or door station

As part of the ACTpro range, this reader is used within a PC-based access control system. For standalone installations, ACT 5 or ACT 10 controllers may be more suitable. For help designing your access control system, whether standalone or networked, contact our technical team for guidance.

What software does the ACTpro access control system use?
It runs on ACTpro software, with a free version available for systems up to 100 doors. A paid version is available for larger systems or additional features. Contact our team for more information.
What is the difference between the EM1030e and EM1050e readers?
The EM1030e is a proximity-only reader with a narrow design, while the EM1050e is a larger reader that also includes a keypad, allowing PIN access alongside RFID credentials.
