Cabin Hooks

Cabin Hooks are used to hold back doors and windows securely. They restrict movement and can be more aesthetically pleasing than using a bolt. They are a useful accessory and allow for fresh air to circulate around your building.

Cabin Hooks were originally used on ship doors to help prevent them from swinging and colliding with other woodwork as the ships navigated waves. It was then used to mechanically hold open other doors and is still a popular ironmongery product.
