Outside Access Devices
For areas requiring external access, OADs allow authorised entry while maintaining the integrity of emergency exit routes. This range features the AR885 available in a knob-operated or lever-operated version - both with euro cylinder operation. The ARRONE AR880 collection also includes a digital lock outside access device in the AR515 for doors requiring keyless entry.

Ensure that with occupancy over 60+ people, hardware to EN 1125 should always be installed, even if all users have prior knowledge of the door hardware operation. Note that the scope of EN 1125 only includes doors up to 1300mm wide and 2500mm high.
As panic escape doors are predominantly outward opening, for additional security you can hang doors on security hinges. Or, if you’re already using heavy duty hinges, you can install separate security hinge bolts - one pair per door leaf.
