Comprehensive Range of Panic Exit Solutions

The Exidor range includes everything needed for a fully compliant and functional emergency exit system:

  • Panic Bars - EN 1125 – Push bar and touch bar hardware that release in a single operation. Check the height of your door for products like the 294 single panic bolt as they have top and bottom shooting bolts. The active part of the panic hardware should cover a minimum of 60% of the door width with the bar width with many products suitable for cutting to length on site. Fit EN 1125 solutions when building occupancy exceeds 60+ people or the public have access to the area. The collection includes latch, bolt, and nightlatch variants like the Exidor 305 panic mortice actuator.
  • EN 179 Solutions - Use lever and pad operated emergency exit hardware on doors used solely by trained personnel. Office, factories, or warehouses where the occupancy is less than 60 people and they are trained on how to use the escape door ironmongery.
  • Single and Double Door Hardware - Models are available to suit both rebated and non-rebated double doors. The Exidor 285 combines three items (294, 296, and 300) to make a double push bar package with three point locking. Whether single of double doors, check the  number of locking points required, and which standard hardware needs to meet.
  • Exidor Panic Latches - EN 1125 and EN 179 - Latching action isn’t exclusive to either type of hardware - panic or emergency egress. Horizontal latches form part of the Exidor 296 push bar and 297 push pad solutions. Mortice actuator and nightlatch function can also be found in both types of exit door products.
  • Panic Bolts - Unlike a horizontal latch, panic bolts shoot top and bottom of a door, so getting the right height is crucial. The scope of EN 1125 extends to doors up to 2500mm high. Standard sizes of the Exidor 293 and 294 cover doors up to 2440mm high with special sizes available on request.
  • Exidor Outside Access Devices – Allow secure external entry when required, without compromising emergency egress. You must use products that are tested together to ensure compatibility and functionality. This range includes both knob and lever operated OADs with euro cylinder locking. Check the door thickness prior to installation as models like the 302EC suit a 45mm thick door as standard. Mechanical push button digital locks are available with a range of functions including passage mode and Quick Code.
  • Hardware Accessories - Exidor produces many fixing packs and keep options to ensure compatibility with different door materials, including timber, steel, and uPVC.

Durability & Finishes to Suit Any Application

Built to withstand demanding environments, the Exidor panic bars and latches are engineered for longevity. Standard finishes are readily available - silver, black, and white. Plated finishes - stainless steel and brass effect - are available as special orders.

RAL colours can be supplied on request, allowing integration with any door and door hardware finish. Built environments of course require precision functionality but the look and feel of a premises should not be overlooked.
