Push Plates & Kick Plates

Door Push Plates or finger plates can help to protect the wood of a door and to cover up the bolt fixings of pull handles. The centre of the plate should be at approximately arm level (usually 1066mm up from the floor) and should be positioned 45mm away from the edge of the door.

We stock satin anodised aluminium, brass and stainless steel plates in different grades with radiused or square corners. We also offer the Hoppe SecuSan plate with an antimicrobial finish. They are all drilled and countersunk and supplied complete with fixings. Popular sizes are listed on our website but please contact us should you require a more bespoke item.

Kickplates protect a door from damage by general use in a variety of locations. High use areas such as corridors may have taller kickplates than areas such as offices. Kickplates in hospitals can be half height, often referred to as trolley plates, or doors may have a separate mid rail plate as well as a standard kickplate at the base of the door. Kickplates are supplied in a range of finishes with square corners. The door protection plates are drilled and countersunk, suitable for screw fixing on site. Kickplates can be fitted to both sides of a door, or just to the face that may encounter the most damage, e.g. the push face.
