Securitron GL1F High Strength Gate Lock for Sliding or Swing Gates
The Securitron GL1 electromechanical gate lock delivers 900kg of holding force and is weather resistant. It offers high performance security for indoor and outdoor swinging or sliding gate systems. This surface mounted, dual voltage lock is available in two monitored models:
- Securitron GL1 FLM: Fail secure (fail locked)
- Securitron GL1 FSM: Fail safe (fail unlocked)

Pre-load operation (up to 45kg) and manual key override (cylinder sold separately) are features exclusive to the GL1 FLM fail secure model. Both versions include latch status monitoring as standard.

The Securitron GL1 gate lock is designed to keep gates secure, even in tough conditions. With a locking force of 900kg, it’s a reliable option for gates that are used often or may be subject to force, such as in commercial yards, storage areas, industrial sites, or secure access points.
The GL1-FLM fail secure model works under a pre-load of up to 45kg and also supports manual key override if a compatible cylinder is fitted.
The GL1-FSM fail safe model unlocks automatically if power is cut, making it a good choice for areas where a safe exit is a priority if power is lost.
Both models are monitored as standard, with integrated latch status feedback. This allows real-time lock status reporting to your access control or building management system.
Designed for Reliable Alignment, Compatibility, and Protection
The GL1 works with both 12V and 24V DC power and switches automatically, making installation easier. The Securitron DK26 keypad system is also 12/24V DC auto-detect and pairs perfectly with the GL1, offering secure PIN access for internal or external gate applications.
The ±13mm self-aligning receiver compensates for gate sag or misalignment, reducing installation complexity and ongoing maintenance needs. This feature aids long-term reliability, even where gate movement is common due to wear or environmental conditions.
