The Securitron DK 26 keypad is a compact and durable access control keypad for secure doors. It’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with an IP67 rated keypad and a separate controller that’s installed inside the building for extra protection. This setup helps prevent tampering and unauthorised access.
Designed for medium to high security areas, the DK-26 keypad provides code based entry for doors fitted with electric locks. It also includes optional functions such as anti-tailgating, duress, and tamper detection, so you can adjust the security level to suit your site’s needs. Additional components may be required to enable some of the optional functions on the Securitron DK-26 keypad system.

Added Security With Separate Keypad And Controller
The Securitron DK26 has a split design for better protection. The keypad is fitted on the unsecure side for users to enter their code, while the controller is installed inside the secure area. This means the main controls are kept safe from tampering or damage.
The system still won’t unlock from the outside even if the keypad is broken or vandalised. This makes it a smart choice for unmanned entrances, outdoor gates, or doors in low supervision areas, where reliable security is essential.
Flexible Code Options To Suit Different Security Levels
The Securitron DK-26 keypad offers flexible code management to meet different levels of security. You can choose how codes are set up and used based on your site requirements.
- Fixed Code Programming: Use a permanent code that rarely changes. Suitable for low risk areas or general traffic control, but less secure over time.
- Hard Code: The Hard Code can only be set or changed using the hard code button on the CPU board. This ensures it is never lost from the keypad, making it ideal for sites with multiple DK-26 keypads programmed separately or with different Programming Codes. It provides universal access for facility managers or security teams.
- Keypad Changeable Codes: Set a separate admin code (Program Code) that allows the regular User Code to be updated when needed. This is ideal for higher security doors where codes should change frequently or after suspected compromise.
- Multiple User Codes: Store up to 59 different codes for individuals or teams. If one code needs to be changed, the others stay the same to minimise disruption and maintain secure access for authorised users.

Adjustable Timing And Advanced Security Functions
You can configure the DK-26 keypad system to suit how your access point operates:
- Adjustable Time Range: The unlock time can be set between 1 and 99 seconds to suit site requirements, with a factory default of 5 seconds.
- Toggle Mode: Keeps the door unlocked until the code is re-entered, making it ideal for free access during working hours. For example, it can be used on an office door in a shared building. The door can be unlocked when the first person arrives, and the last person to leave relocks the door at the end of the day for overnight security.
Additional programmable features include:
- Anti-Tailgating: With a door switch (not included), the DK-26 can re-lock the door immediately after it closes, even if time remains on the unlock timer. This prevents unauthorised users from following others and is especially useful in secure environments like care homes, and secure healthcare facilities.
- Duress Code: Triggers a silent alert when entered under pressure from an unauthorised user. It allows access while discreetly notifying the security team, helping protect the authorised user in a high risk situation.
- Code Disabling Inputs: Temporarily disable user or admin codes, ideal for switching between day and night access.
- Bell Key Function: Activates a connected doorbell, not included, to allow a visitor to request access.
