See Visitors Before Unlocking the Door with Videx Videophones
This Videx video handset provides the internal communication point for your video door entry system. When a visitor presses the call button on the entrance panel, the videophone rings and the 3.5 inch colour screen displays the live camera feed.
Using the handset, you can speak with the visitor and decide whether to release the connected electric lock using the door release button. This allows visitors to be verified before entry is granted.
A separate exit button can also be installed near the door to allow easy egress from inside the building.
Additional Handsets for Your Videx Video Intercom System
Extra videophones can be installed within the same property so calls from the entrance can be answered from different rooms or floors. This can be useful in larger homes, workplaces, or shared buildings where answering the door from a single handset may not always be practical.
For installations where wall mounting is not suitable, an optional desktop kit allows the videophone to be positioned on a desk or reception counter. A memory version of the handset is also available. The 6286/MV model can store up to 100 images with the corresponding date and time.
Accessories and different models for this Videx intercom videophone are available as special orders. Please contact us for more information.
Alternative Videx Intercom Options
If you do not require video, audio intercom systems are also available. The Videx 4K-1S is an audio only intercom kit, while the DK4K-1S combines audio communication with keypad access control. These Videx systems can also support additional handsets.
