See Who’s at Your Door with a Video Intercom

This ERA video intercom system allows building occupants to see and speak with visitors before unlocking the door. When a visitor presses the call button on the panel, the internal videophone rings and displays a live feed. This type of video door entry system helps prevent unauthorised access by allowing occupants to visually confirm visitors before granting entry.

The videophone features a 3.5-inch colour LCD screen, allowing users to clearly see who is at the door while speaking with them through the handset. The occupant can then decide whether to unlock the electric lock using the door release button.

If video is not required, the Videx DK4K-1S with keypad provides an audio only alternative. For installations without keypad access, the Videx 4K-1S audio intercom kit is also offered.

Flexible Entry Options for Visitors and Users

The Videx intercom allows both visitor calls and authorised entry from the same entrance point. Visitors can call the intercom, while authorised users can enter using a proximity fob or keypad code.

The integrated proximity reader supports up to 2000 fobs. This makes the system suitable for locations with multiple authorised users, such as workplaces, blocks of flats, or managed facilities.

The keypad can be set up with access codes to be programmed for regular users. Up to 400 PIN codes can be stored, providing a flexible access solution for staff, residents, or service providers.

Together, these features allow the ERA video entry panel to function as both a video intercom and an access control point at the same entrance.

ERA Video Intercom System for Different Building Types

The ERA23VB video entry panel supports multiple call button configurations. The panel can be set up with one, two, or four call buttons, or configured with a single call button combined with keypad access.

This flexibility allows the system to suit different building types. A single call button works well for homes or small workplaces, while multiple buttons are often used in shared offices or blocks of flats where visitors need to contact a specific occupant.

One videophone is included, but the system can support up to eight entrances and four video intercom handsets per apartment. A splitter may be needed when adding additional handsets.

Our technical team can help you choose the right configuration for your building if you are planning a larger video intercom or access control system.
