Tedee PRO Smart Lock Kit with Tedee Ready Cylinder
The Tedee PRO Smart Lock Kit combines the rechargeable Tedee PRO with a dedicated Tedee-ready euro cylinder. The included cylinder features a Tedee rotor designed specifically for the PRO smart lock. This creates the required mechanical connection between the smart lock and cylinder.

How the Tedee PRO Works with Your Cylinder
The Tedee PRO Smart Lock requires a suitable cylinder to function correctly. It works by turning the internal mechanism of your euro cylinder, just like a key would from the inside of the door.
This kit removes uncertainty by supplying a Tedee-ready cylinder designed specifically for straightforward installation and setup. There are, however, several ways to achieve cylinder compatibility.
Use a Tedee-Ready Cylinder
This is the most straightforward solution. The cylinder is factory-prepared with the correct rotor already installed. No key cutting or component modification is required.
Pair a Double Euro Cylinder with a Tedee Adapter
If your current cylinder includes the required emergency function, it may be used with a Tedee adapter. This typically involves shortening a key so the smart lock can operate it. This option can be useful where a master key system is in place.
Alternatively, the Tedee GO Smart Lock fits over a key in a compatible double clutch cylinder, removing the need to shorten the key. It operates using replaceable batteries rather than a rechargeable power supply.
Convert a Euro Cylinder and Turn Using a Tedee Rotor
Some euro cylinders with thumbturns can be converted by replacing the turn with a compatible Tedee rotor. Rotors are cylinder model-specific and available in different lengths.

Easy Upgrade to Rechargeable Smart Access
The Tedee PRO Smart Lock delivers discreet smart access control without the need for wiring or permanent electrical work. Its rechargeable battery lasts approximately 6 to 10 months per charge.
Access permissions and battery status are managed through the Tedee app on a smartphone, where digital permissions can be issued permanently, for scheduled periods or for single use. This flexibility suits homes, short-term rentals like Airbnbs, and workplaces, reducing reliance on physical keys.
