Securitron M62 Maglock for Reliable Access Control

The M62 Securitron is designed for higher risk entry points. With 544kg holding force, it offers twice the strength of the Securitron M32 maglock, making it a better choice for heavy duty situations where extra protection matters. The built-in BondSTAT sensor provides live feedback on whether the lock is fully engaged. This allows the door’s status to be monitored in real time.

Like all maglocks, the M62 is fail safe, which means it unlocks automatically when power is lost. This is important for a safe exit if there is a loss of power. The lock has no residual magnetism, so it releases immediately every time and ensures the door opens when it should.

If your door needs to stay locked during a power cut, consider using a battery backup. This keeps the lock powered temporarily so you don’t lose security during an unexpected outage.

Choose The Right M62 Maglock Mounting For Your Door

Select the correct model for your installation:

  • M62B: Standard fix
  • M62FB: Face fix

If you need a concealed locking option, the Securitron SAM shear lock is a suitable alternative. It installs within the door and frame and offers the same BondSTAT monitoring.

Accurate installation is supported with:

  • Automatic 12V–24V DC dual voltage (no manual adjustment required during installation)
  • Securitron M62 template (face fix and standard fix models use different templates)
  • Included blind nut fixings

The Securitron M62 installation instructions are available to download from the product document section for your reference.

Complete Your Maglock Access Control System

To build a compliant and secure access system around the M62, consider adding:

  • The Securitron DK-26 keypad: weather resistant and ideal for external access points
  • Lockable IP rated enclosure for power supplies (module not included)
  • Exit buttons or emergency release units
