This intumescent fire and smoke strip is designed for fire rated doors to seal the gap between the door and frame while also providing cold smoke protection. The graphite core expands when exposed to heat to close the gap, while the integrated brush helps control the movement of smoke. 

This supports fire door performance and helps maintain clear escape routes. We also offer a range of emergency lighting to support your escape route.

Fire Door Seal Intumescent Expansion and Smoke Protection

The intercalated graphite core expands up to 10–15 times its original size when exposed to heat, sealing the gap and restricting fire and hot gases. The integrated brush provides a barrier against cold smoke to help control its movement.

Intumescent Seal Installation Made Simple

The seal is supplied with a self-adhesive backing for quick and straightforward installation. Ensure the surface is clean and prepared before fitting.

A pack containing 5 of these 1050mm seals in 10mm or 15mm is also available, providing a convenient single door pack. This helps ensure you have the correct quantity for a complete installation, making it more convenient on site.

A 2100mm length option is also available, offering flexibility for different door sizes. Choosing the correct length can simplify installation and reduce preparation time on site.
