Adjustable Downlight For Targeted Illumination
This emergency exit box light features an integrated adjustable downlight. Aim the beam to illuminate key areas below the fitting, such as doorways, stairwells, or corridor junctions, improving visibility during a power outage and supporting a safer escape route.
Downlights are also available as standalone fittings and can be used alongside existing emergency fire exit signage.
Manual Test Model For Routine Safety Checks
Emergency lights should be tested regularly as part of your ongoing safety and compliance strategy. Routine testing confirms the battery remains in good condition and that the light will operate as expected during a power failure. This unit is tested manually, so power must be cut to simulate a mains failure and confirm that the 3 hour battery backup is functioning correctly.
Manual testing can be time consuming in larger facilities, so a self test version is also available. It carries out automatic checks and includes a status LED to indicate any faults or errors that need attention.
Directional Legends For Clear Exit Route Guidance
This box illuminated fire exit sign is supplied with an up arrow legend as standard. If your escape route requires a different direction, compatible legends with down, left, or right arrows are sold separately. These legends are specifically designed to fit this unit, so it's important to check compatibility before ordering. For other fittings, such as LED fire exit blades, dedicated legends are also available.
Installation instructions include clear guidance on how to change the legend. A printed copy is provided with each light, and downloadable PDFs are available in the product documents tab for reference.
Emergency Lighting Options for Every Zone
This box light is designed for internal wall mounting, ideal for positioning above doors along your escape route. Other areas may require different solutions, such as double sided blade signs that can be wall or ceiling mounted, bulkheads for open spaces, or downlights for corridors.
