Emergency Downlight with Corridor and Open Lenses
This LED downlight comes with both a corridor lens and an open area lens as standard. There’s no need to choose between product variants or order separate accessories. Installers can easily adapt this unit to on-site conditions by selecting the most suitable lens during installation.
The corridor lens projects a long, narrow beam that suits hallways. The open area lens provides a wider spread of light, making it ideal for entrance lobbies, larger rooms and open plan spaces.
Non-Maintained Downlight with Manual Test Function
The foldable converter housing makes this downlight easier to install, even in tight ceiling spaces. The non-maintained design means it stays off during normal conditions and switches on when mains power fails. The built-in battery takes over to provide three hours of emergency lighting.
Emergency lights should be tested regularly to stay compliant and this model should be manually tested. To check it’s working properly, just isolate the mains and make sure the light stays on for the full three hours. If you’re working on a bigger site or want to save time on testing, a self test version is available as a special order. Get in touch with our technical team to discuss the options.
Emergency Downlight for Escape Route Lighting
Emergency lighting plays a crucial role in any evacuation plan. This LED downlight delivers targeted illumination in key areas to light the way for building occupants to evacuate. It works alongside other essential products to create a clear and effective escape route.
For lighting that also serves a directional purpose, pair this unit with a bulkhead or an illuminated box exit sign for wall mounted applications. If you prefer a ceiling mounted option, a blade exit sign offers a double sided solution.
Use exit signage that is clear, consistent and correctly positioned throughout the building. This reduces confusion in high stress situations and supports faster, safer evacuation. For help selecting the right signs, refer to our fire door signage guide or contact our technical team.
