Chain Keeper for Geofire Door Holder

The Geofire chain keeper can be used where the door will not open back to a wall. The chain will bridge the gap from the open door to where the door magnet is mounted. The chain can be cut down to size to suit the gap.

Geofire Chain Keeper Fitting

The chain connects the wall-mounting fire door holder to the door when the door doesn’t open back against a wall, and a floor mounting bracket is not a suitable solution.

The mounting plate is fixed to the door. It is important that the chain is at a perpendicular 90° angle to the face of the magnet. It should hold open fire doors at a minimum of 65°.

This accessory can be used with the Geofire Doormouse and Conquest door retainers. Fitting the chain will still allow the door to be released when the fire alarm sounds or power is cut to the magnetic door holder.
