Mechanical Code Lock for Internal Doors
The Keylex K500L is ideal for internal doors that need controlled access without the complexity of wiring or electronic locking. That means no downtime, no wiring, and no maintenance tied to power supplies.
This mechanical digital lock features a 12 button keypad, lever handles, and a deadlocking tubular latch with an adjustable backset of 60mm or 70mm. The slim body design allows installation on stiles as narrow as 80 mm, and the supplied fixings suit doors up to 45mm thick.
Code Options
The keypad offers more than 4,000 possible code combinations. Keylex recommends using codes between three to six digits. Thanks to the code scramble feature, users can press digits in any order, making codes easier to input. Stainless steel buttons prevent wear marks that could otherwise reveal the most-used digits.
For a Keylex 500 code change, remove the external unit from the door and use a slotted screwdriver to adjust the reverse side of the buttons. Once the new code has been set, refit the lock and test it to confirm correct operation.
