How The ABLOY 351U80 Electric Lock Works

The ABLOY 351U80 is designed for use on single or double swing doors. As the door closes, the spring powered bolt slides into the strike to hold the door shut. When power is applied to the lock and the door is fully closed, the bolt automatically deadlocks, securing the door until it’s released.

You can adjust the gap between the lock and the strike plate using the included spacers. This helps ensure a reliable fit, especially where frames or door alignments vary.

The 351U80 eff eff lock also includes built-in monitoring contacts. These can connect to your access control or security system, giving you real time information on the door’s status.
