The Abloy EL402 Solenoid Lock 12/24V DC is suitable for use on both interior and exterior doors. This electric lock can be controlled by various items of access control, including keypads, timers, or a card reader. The EL402 can be connected to swing door operators, is suitable for frame mounting above a door, and can be installed on swinging doors due to its unique symmetrical trigger bolt.
This lock can always be opened by a push pad, key, or thumbturn. When the door closes, the lock automatically deadlocks, but when activated, there is an immediate release of the deadlocking.
The EL402 has the following features:
- 12/24V DC operating voltage
- Fail safe (fail unlocked)
- 14.5mm bolt throw
- Adjustable backset: 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, 33mm, and 35mm
- Meets the Requirements of EN179 when fitted with a CY080 cylinder
- 25mm wide forend
- Non-handed symmetrical trigger bolt
- Double action bolt for push/pull door operation
- Suitable for narrow stile doors
Supplied with: lockcase, EA307 strike plate, connection plugs, and fixing screws.
Not suitable for use on fire rated doors.
