Visual Indicators for Secure Doors
The TLI-45 access control traffic light gives an easy-to-read indication of door status. Its red and green LEDs can be set to suit your requirements, for example, green to show entry is allowed and red to show it is restricted, or the other way round if preferred. Only one LED is lit at a time, removing any chance of confusion.
This clear visual signal lets staff, visitors, and security teams confirm door status instantly.
Built for Narrow Frames and High-Traffic Areas
The TLI-45 has a slimline making it ideal for fitting into tight spaces such as narrow door frames or areas with limited wall width. This makes it especially useful in retrofit projects where space is at a premium or where standard-sized indicators won’t fit.
Its design includes tamper-resistant fixings to prevent unauthorised interference and a smooth, easy-to-wipe surface for quick cleaning. This combination makes the unit well-suited for busy public and commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and educational environments, where hygiene and durability are important. Pair it with other space saving and tamper resistant components, such as the EBSS/AP narrow press to exit button and the KPX75 slimline keypad and proximity reader.
For installations with more space, the TLI-85 door traffic light with a standard footprint is available. Its flush-mounted design gives a neat finish, making it ideal for locations where appearance is an important consideration.
Flexible Integration with Access Control Systems
The TLI-45 integrates with a wide range of components to form a traffic light system for your door. It delivers immediate visual feedback to support access across a variety of building types and security levels.
Access Controlled Doors
You can set the LEDs to suit your needs. For example, in a security first setup, green can show the door is locked and secure, while red means it’s unlocked. In other sites, this can be reversed, so green signals “access granted” and red means “no entry”. This flexibility makes it easy to match the indicator to your building and user expectations.
Doors on a Timer
Great for doors that are unlocked during the day and locked at night. The light can show red when the door is locked outside of working hours and green when it’s open during the day. Ideal for offices, retail spaces, warehouses, or any place with set opening times.
Multiple Door Interlocks
In systems where only one door can be open at a time, the light makes it clear when to wait and when to go through. Red can show another door is open and you need to wait before using your door, while green shows it’s your turn to enter. Useful in schools, nurseries, or hospitals.
The door lock interface module can be added if you need to set up a two-door interlock. If you need to interlock multiple doors, please contact our technical team for tailored advice.
Security Teams or Manually Controlled Systems
Fit the light away from the door, like at a reception desk, security office, or nurse station, so staff can see straight away if the door is locked or unlocked. You can choose which colour means which, so it matches your team’s expectations.
