Fire Door Compliance

The dormakaba TS71 fire door closer is Certifire Approved (CF268) for use on fire rated doors with up to 120 minutes of resistance, making it a reliable choice for projects requiring fire safety compliance. However, proper installation is essential to ensure it meets fire safety standards. 

The TS71 is Certifire Approved for:

• Fig. 1 pull side mounting
• Fig. 66 push side mounting

It is important to note that Fig. 61 transom mounting is not suitable for fire rated doors. For applications requiring Fig. 61 mounting on fire doors, consider the dormakabaTS83, which also offers backcheck to prevent doors from being opened forcefully.
