This Boss door closer is a versatile and adaptable solution, offering a spring adjustable power size range from EN 2-4. This allows you to fine-tune the closing force to suit different door widths and weights, making it ideal for internal doors in offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and retail environments.

Factory preset to power size EN3, this closer can be easily adjusted using a standard hex key. Turn it five full turns up or down to increase or reduce the power to EN4 or EN2 respectively. 

Please note: EN3 is the minimum power size suitable for use on fire rated doors.

Installing and Adjusting The Boss TS2.224 Door Closer

In addition to variable power settings, this Boss overhead door closer also features adjustable closing speed, latching action, and backcheck. The integrated backcheck helps protect the door, hinges, and surrounding walls from excessive force.

This door closer supports both pull side and push side mounting. When installing on the push side, the arm will need to be pre-loaded. Follow the installation instructions included in the box, or download the fitting instructions from the product documents section now.
