The GEZE E 250 NT suits a wide range of window configurations. It can be fitted to inward or outward opening windows, including bottom hung, side hung, top hung, and outward opening roof windows. Installation is possible on either the window or the frame, depending on available space and the window design.

When using the E250NT in vertical applications, it’s important to carry out a risk assessment of the actuator’s position, as it may pose a hazard to users when projecting from the leaf. This model is recommended for use with high level windows only.

Certified For Smoke And Heat Ventilation Systems

Tested and certified to EN 12101-2, the GEZE E250NT operates as a natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation device (NSHEV). This certification guarantees compliance and safety in critical applications where reliability is essential.

The SHEV system is activated externally via a signal from the building’s fire alarm system. Activation is typically achieved using a volt-free normally open/common (NO/C) contact from a dedicated fire alarm interface or the auxiliary output of the fire panel. When the fire alarm is triggered, this contact closes to initiate the SHEV sequence.
