Trimec ES9000 Electric Strike for Heavy Duty Use

The Trimec ES9000 electric release is designed to operate reliably under high traffic conditions. It’s capable of releasing under pre-load pressure of up to 25kg, making it ideal for installations where door misalignment, seals, or air pressure variations cause resistance.

Tested to 3 million cycles, the ES9000 electric strike release is a durable, monitored access control solution suitable for timber or metal doors in commercial and industrial settings. It operates on 12–24V DC and can be easily configured on site as either fail safe or fail secure to meet specific site needs.

Trimec ES9000 Pre-Load Strike for Reliable Operation

Pre-load conditions often occur in real world installations, from warped doors or tight seals to pressure differences between interior and exterior spaces. The Trimec ES9000 electric strike release is engineered to release reliably even when up to 25kg of force is applied to the keeper. This makes it an ideal choice for environments where standard strikes would struggle or fail under pressure.

The pre-load tolerance ensures consistent unlocking performance, even if the door is pulled before the strike releases.

Versatile and Monitored Trimec Electric Strike

This Trimec electric release is factory set to fail safe, but it can be easily reconfigured on site to fail secure using the supplied 2mm hex key.

With integrated door/latch and solenoid monitoring, this electric strike provides feedback on both door status and solenoid activity. This is essential for access control systems that require full state reporting for auditing, alarms, or system feedback.

Electric Locking from Assa Abloy’s Trimec

The wider Trimec electric locking range includes a variety of solutions to suit a range of doors.

If your access control system operates on 12V DC, consider the ES200 unmonitored and ES2000 monitored electric strikes, both are reliable options for standard applications.

For greater flexibility across varied installations, this ES9000 monitored strike and ES110 unmonitored strike are ideal. The adaptablity helps simplify stock management and make them well-suited for reactive maintenance where door details may be unknown.

The ES8100 V-Lock electric bolt is designed for high security performance and is fire rated.

Fail safe VS fail secure - what's the difference?
Fail safe electric locks will be unlocked when the power is cut to them, allowing for the free flow of foot traffic. Fail secure locks remain locked/secured when the power is cut to them. The door remains locked until power is restored.
