dormakaba universal cover plates suit the BTS80/F/EMB/FLB and BTS75V floor springs.

They provide protection to the internal floor spring mechanism and a level floor surface. The covers also prevent tampering with the closing speed and latching action adjustment valves.

Adaptable Floor Spring Cover Plates

The cover plate can be installed or replaced with the door in-situ. The four fixing holes allow the plate to be fixed directly to the body of the floor spring. 

For single action doors, one of the pre-blanked corner sections of the plate will need to be removed. This is to accommodate the bottom strap. When fitting to double action doors, the plate doesn’t require any adaptation.

The 46700000 plate suits a variety of dormakaba floor springs:

• BTS80EMB - electromagnetic hold open function
• BTS80FLB - electromagnetic swing free function
• BTS80F - mechanical unit with backcheck

If a replacement cover plate is required for the BTS75V floor spring, whether it is a hold-open or non-hold open model, choose the 46700059 plate.
