This fixing pack is for use with the Briton 996 series fire door closers when installed in Figure 1 fitting position. This is with the body of the closer mounted to the pull side of the door with the closer arm on the door frame.

Effective Door Closer Maintenance

This kit of screws, washers, nuts, bolts, and cover cap help to ensure that the pull side mounting Briton 996 door closer is securely fixed to the door. 

Weekly checks should be made on fire door closers. This includes the hold open or swing free function of electromagnetic closers. Conduct visual and functional checks to ensure all fixings are in place and secured, there is no oil leakage, and the door closes fully into the frame after each use.

Door Closer Accessories
