Fire Rated Access Control Door Kit 

This access control kit provides the essential components to start building a compliant and adaptable door entry system. It includes a monitored slimline maglock with a compatible intumescent kit, a resettable emergency break glass unit, a press to exit button, and a 12V DC 3 Amp power supply unit.

To create a complete, operational access control system, you must add an activation device such as a keypad or proximity reader. Depending on your door type and site requirements, you may also need optional extra components such as maglock mounting brackets or a battery backup, all sold separately.

Scalable Power Supply for Growing Systems

The included 12V DC 3 Amp access control power supply is built with performance and flexibility in mind. Its modular format allows the power supply to be upgraded for a higher amperage version without removing the enclosure or disturbing other installed components and wiring. This allows your system to adapt to your developing security needs.

Magnetic stand-offs are supplied in a set of four, enough to mount one controller or board. These stand-offs raise the board above the base of the enclosure, creating space for discreet cable routing and a cleaner, more organised installation. They also allow the board to be repositioned easily without tools, making servicing and configuration changes straightforward. They are compatible with controller boards from many leading access control brands, including Paxton and Salto.

The included PSU can house a backup battery up to 18Ah (sold separately) to maintain operation during temporary mains failures. When connected to a fire alarm interface, the maglock will release immediately upon alarm activation, even if running on battery power.

• Interlock Relays: Control the operation of two doors to prevent simultaneous unlocking
