Standalone Maglock Kit | Door Access Control Systems | Bluetooth Proximity
We have assembled various components to form this 12v DC single door access control kit. It includes the following parts:
- 1 x 12v DC 1 amp power supply unit (PSU)
- 1 x ML600 electromagnetic lock
- 1 x Stainless steel/green domed “Press To Exit” button
- 1 x Emergency break glass unit – single pole
- 1 x APX-14T proximity/Bluetooth keypad
- 5 x Proximity fobs for APX proximity reader
The fire rated version of this kit is suitable for installation on FD30 and FD60 fire doors and includes the compliant surface armature housing (ML600AS).
The electric locking element of this kit is the RGL ML600 single door maglock which is unmonitored, 12/24V DC, with a 300kg holding force. The mini maglock power supply is a 12V DC 1 amp unit, which has suitable back up batteries available that are sold separately.
This new kit has been created to incorporate the Deedlock APX-14T waterproof numeric keypad which has an IP68 rating. This model of Deedlock door keypad lock supports proximity fobs and 4-digit PIN entry, but is Bluetooth and WiFi enabled using the free Tuya app. The keypad features remote door release but the kit we've assembled also includes 5no proximity key fobs to provide physical access control for five individual users.
Door locks with keypad entry are often fitted with other commonly used access control products such as break glass units and emergency exit buttons to provide easy and safe egress. We have paired the IP68 keypad with an IP66 rated stainless steel press to exit button that suits standard back boxes and can be used for flush or surface fitting. Controlled access is provided by the keypad on the external side of the door, whether by code, proximity or remote access, then internally, it is manual egress using the push to exit button.
