Reliable Control of Multiple Access Control Locks

This RGL fire fused output board provides safe and consistent power distribution to multiple access control locks. Each output is independently fused at F3a, meaning that if a fault occurs with one output, it will not affect the other three. This helps to keep the rest of the system secure, giving you peace of mind. This design adds to the resilience of the installation, reduces downtime, and simplifies maintenance checks.

These outputs are selectable and can either be switched or permanently on by configuring the jumpers to meet your needs.

The module can be connected to the fire alarm system via a volt-free pair.

Clear Status Indication and Easy Fault Finding

LED indicators provide instant visual confirmation of system health and fuse status. If a fuse fails, the corresponding LED highlights the fault immediately, reducing the time spent identifying issues so engineers can focus on resolving them.

Customising Access Control for Your Facility

Your access control system needs to meet the specific requirements of your building and doors. To achieve this, a range of relays, power supplies, and exit devices can be combined to create a tailored setup.

Timer relays can introduce a short delay after an exit button is pressed, a code is entered on a keypad, or a fob is presented to a proximity reader. This gives the user enough time to reach and open the door before it relocks, which is particularly useful when activation devices are mounted away from the door.

For sites where controlling flow is essential, such as secure healthcare facilities or education environments, a DLIM can be used for interlocking two doors. This makes sure that both doors cannot be opened at the same time, maintaining higher levels of security and managing movement in restricted areas more effectively.

Reliable power is also key to efficient operation. The Access-12 range of RGL power supply units is ideal for access control installations. The included magnetic board stands provide space for neat cable management. These stands also allow the boards to be repositioned easily for system expansion, upgrades, or fault finding without the need to unscrew them.

To complement these, a wide selection of exit devices is available, including touch-free models, dual units with integrated break glass, red dome emergency exit buttons, and self-resetting options.
