Fire Rated Surface Mounted Shear Lock
The RGL SH2600 shearlock surface housing is a required component for fire rated installations of the MSL2600 shear lock. When installed together, the SH2600 and MSL2600 combination has been fire tested to BS EN 1634-1 for use on 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute rated timber doors.
For compliant installations, the MSL2600 must be installed using the SH2600 housing. Always refer to the fire test evidence for the specific door to ensure full fire safety compliance.
