This GEZE door closer is Certifire Approved for use on fire rated doors when installed in Fig. 1 or Fig. 66 configurations.
Additionally, this door closer is available with an optional mechanical hold open arm, which is not suitable for use on fire rated doors. You can select this option from the drop down menu.
