A cushioning limit stay is available which easily inserts into the slide channel and can be adjusted between 80° and 120°. While it helps prevent doors from hitting adjacent walls during normal use a door stop should also be used for further protection. The cushioning limiting stay can be added at the time of installation or retrofitted to existing closers.
