Effective Door Closing for Harsh Environments
The TS 4000 wetroom door closer is the perfect choice for damp environments. This rack and pinion closer has a nickel-plated spindle, bearing shells, and stainless steel screws. Unlike other finishes, it has higher anti-corrosion resistance.
So you can have a consistent aesthetic throughout your project or facility, it is available in a standard silver finish. The TS 4000 S has the option of EN 1-6 or EN 5-7 power size. For electromagnetic hold open, select the TS 4000 E, with the TS 4000 EFS having swing free function.
Fully Adjustable GEZE Door Closers
For ease of access, the adjustments on this GEZE wetroom closer are made on the front of the unit. The following functions can be adjusted as required to suit each door or location:
- Closing speed - Adjust the speed of closing from the maximum opening angle to around 15° from closed. This sweep speed slows down or increases the time it takes for the door to close over most of the opening arch.
- Latching action - This adjustment covers the last few degrees of closing. Use this adjustment to ensure that the door closes effectively against any latch or door seals that are fitted.
- Power size - With a range from EN 1-6, this closer covers light, narrow doors through to 1400mm wide, 100kg doors. It has a power indicator on the front of the unit for easy reference and monitoring. On fire doors, install at a minimum power size of EN 3.
- Backcheck - This function is hydraulically adjustable. Rotate the valve clockwise to increase, or anti-clockwise to decrease. Backcheck provides a dampening effect when doors are opened with force, helping to protect the door and its surroundings.
When making on-body adjustments to this door closer, only use a manual pozidrive screwdriver. Using power tools can damage the mechanism and impact the functionality of a door closer.
