What is the difference between standard and architectural maglock brackets?
Both types of brackets are used in the same way but architectural brackets have a curved design for aesthetic reasons.
Do brackets effect the holding force of a maglock?
Yes, installing brackets can reduce the holding force of a magnet. The holding force can be up to 70% less so factor this into your choice of maglock.
Can I use two single maglock brackets to install an RGL double maglock?
No, for the RGL range, you must use the dedicated RGL double maglock brackets. Two single maglock brackets are not compatible with their double maglocks. The RGL double brackets are a continuous, purpose designed unit that ensures stable installation. It also features specifically designed mounting slots to allow for quick and easy one person installation.
