The GEZE RWA K600T retractable arm is a high performance drive designed specifically for doors in SHEV systems. It is ideal for buildings that rely on air inlet doors to manage smoke extraction and ventilation in an emergency. The SHEV system is activated externally via a signal from the building’s fire alarm system. Activation is typically achieved using a volt-free normally open/common (NO/C) contact from a dedicated fire alarm interface or the auxiliary output of the fire panel. When the fire alarm is triggered, this contact closes to initiate the SHEV sequence.
This unit is commonly installed on single or double leaf air inlet doors. It’s engineered for demanding environments where wide door opening angles are critical.
