The dormakaba standard spindle is for use with a range of dormakaba BTS floor springs, like the BTS75V. It also suits the BTS80F, BTS80FLB, and BTS80EMB.
The standard dormakaba spindle provides the basic level of clearance - 8mm. It is the part that connects the floor spring closer mechanism to the door bottom strap.

dormakaba Floor Spring Spindle Options
Different lengths of extended spindles are available as a special order. The first increment is +5mm on the standard spindle, up to +50mm. Having interchangeable spindle inserts allows for flexibility across a project. It allows you to install the same range of floor door closers and adapt them to each door location.
