Replacement Arrow Door Closer Cable Loop

If cables become twisted or damaged, it is a quick solution to replace the door closer cable loop and junction box. It should be mounted to the frame at the same height as the door closer body.

Two red wires from the door closer connect to the two red wires from the junction box. The junction box is connected to a 24V DC power supply. Once installed, make sure to test that the unit works as required. This can be done using the integral test switch. Then test weekly as part of your fire door maintenance routine.

Electromagnetic door closers should be installed with a transformer rectifier. Select a model with a suitable amperage for the setup in your facility.
