Window Control Units & Accessories

Electric Window Control Units and Accessories

Window actuator control units, power supplies, and switches work together to create a reliable automatic window system. Each component plays an important role. Whether used for clearing smoke in stairwells or natural ventilation to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout a building.

  • Control units: with adjustable settings for ventilation and safety use
  • Electric window power supplies: 24V DC with different amp options to match your system’s requirements
  • Power supply housing: to hold one or more power supply or control modules, ideal for grouped actuator installations, such as banks of windows
  • Window actuator switches: for quick and simple manual control
  • Vent switch surface box ideal for installations where flush mounting isn’t practical
  • Brackets: to suit a variety of window types

Together, these parts do more than just open and close windows. They work as a complete system that supports building ventilation, fire safety, and energy efficiency. Whether it’s for one window or an entire building, using the right accessories makes your auto window system easier to use.

Window Control Modules for Ventilation and Smoke Extraction

Control units manage how windows open and close. Opening and closing can be achieved through a manual switch or automatically in response to smoke or heat.

This range includes reliable options for everyday window ventilation and emergency smoke control:

  • GEZE DMS 5: Open and close control for one or more windows
  • THZ N4: Interconnects several staircase control panels
  • THZ Comfort N4: Staircase control panel with illuminated buttons

Electric window control modules help manage airflow, improve safety, and support quick smoke clearance when needed. Adjustable settings make it easy to match how the system operates to the specific needs of your building.

24V DC Window Actuator Power Supply Units

Electric window openers running on 24V DC need a stable, compatible power source for consistent performance. To deliver that reliability, electric window power supply units provide a regulated output that supports control units and operators.

DIN rail mounted power supplies are available in various amperages to meet different system demands. Modules can be purchased individually, making them ideal for replacing existing units. For new installations, surface housings are available separately to accommodate power supplies and control modules. If you’re controlling multiple windows with actuators, you may require more than one power supply unit.

230V AC window openers operate directly from the mains supply and do not need a separate power supply unit.

Window Vent Switches for Manual Operation

For windows positioned high up or in awkward spaces, an open/close switch gives users manual control. These switches offer convenience for everyday ventilation, especially where access to the window is limited. Switches are available to work with 24V or 230V systems.

Models include:

Some vent switches are supplied flush mounted as standard. Surface mounting boxes are also available for walls that don’t easily allow for recessed installation, such as concrete or brick.

Window Actuator Brackets

Many electric window actuators can be fitted in different ways to suit various window types and installation requirements. Certain applications may need additional brackets to provide a secure and stable mounting.

Some bracket styles are designed specifically for inward or outward opening windows, so selecting the correct option is important.
