The dormakaba TS68 door closer features a template adjustable power size range of EN 2-4 making it suitable for doors up to 1100mm wide. This means you determine the power size by the positioning of the closer on the door and adjusting the arm power shoe, allowing you to select the ideal setting during installation based on the door's width.

It’s essential to follow the instructions and use the template provided to ensure the door closer is correctly placed. You will find the installation instructions in the box, and you can also download them from the product documents.

The TS68 also allows you to fine tune the closing speed and latching action via adjustable valves, ensuring optimal performance tailored to the specific door.

This overhead door closer is suitable for universal installation and is suplpied complete with a parallel arm bracket for convenience. It is important to note that the TS68 is only Certifire Approved when installed in the Fig. 1 configuration. 

Fire Door Certification and Compliance

The dormakaba TS68 closer is Certfirie Approved for use on timber fire doors with up to 120 minutes of fire resistance making it a trusted option for fire doors in commercial and public buildings. However, it's important to note that the TS68 is only suitable for Fig. 1 (pull side) mounting on fire doors, as other mounting options are not Certifire Approved. Additionally, the minimum power size suitable for a door closer on a fire rated door is EN 3.
