Adams Rite 281 Double Maglocks – Double Door Locking

The Adams Rite Armlock 281 double maglocks provide an easy-to-integrate security solution for double doors. Designed for commercial, public, and industrial buildings, these maglocks deliver robust locking strength and flexible mounting options.

With a holding force of 510kg per magnet, these double electromagnetic locks secure both leaves of a double door, making them ideal for main entrances, corridors, and controlled access areas. Their surface-mounted design simplifies installation, and they are compatible with timber, aluminium, and steel doors.

Dual-Door Locking – Secures both leaves of a double door with two maglocks in one housing, reducing installation time. Two small armature plates are supplied with the double maglocks. The Armlock 281 is also available as a single door unit, monitored or unmonitored.

Fail-Safe Design – Automatically releases when power is lost, allowing for quick and easy egress for users. For fail secure locking, consider an electric strike or motor lock.

12V/24V DC Operation – Dual voltage compatibility allows for easy integration into different access control systems. Check the operating voltage on site when retrofitting to an existing door.

Monitoring Option – Armlock 281-005 model has built-in monitoring (hall effect) and relay dry contact with LED.

Versatile Compatibility – Works with access control systems and can be released by keypads, card readers, and push to exit buttons. For immediate release, the release switch needs to break the circuit on the positive supply to the magnet.

Mounting Accessories Available – Compatible with a range of brackets for tailored installation. As standard, this lock suits outward opening doors. Use compatible Z and L brackets for inward opening door installation.
