The ARRONE AR708A letter plate is available from stock in a selection of finishes, and we have a matching urn door knocker as part of this front door furniture range. This sleeved letter box is suitable to install on PVC, composite, and timber doors.

This Hoppe letter plate is weather tested, corrosion tested, and conforms to the requirements of BS EN 13724:2002, which amongst other things, means it has been flap tested to 50,000 cycles. It suits doors from 44mm thick up to 70mm thick and is supplied with two different lengths of bolt through fixings as standard. The aperture of this PVC door letter box plate is 255mm wide so it will easily accept A4 envelopes.
When fitting a letter plate it is important to check the dimensions of the plate correspond with the cut out in the door if retrofitting to an existing door. If installing on a new door, check that any pre-cut hole or the door's mid-rail can accommodate the size of the letter plate.
You will also need to ensure that the letter plate suits the overall thickness of the door leaf, whether it is new or existing. If the door cannot accommodate a letter plate for any reason, then wall mounted post boxes would be a good alternative.
