Door Controls Direct, a security and safety specialist, proudly announces its partnership with the NHS Emergency and Critical Care Appeal to support the enhancement of the new emergency department at Dorset County Hospital.
As part of this commitment, Door Controls Direct will focus its fundraising efforts on the enhancements to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Suite, aiming to provide crucial support for young patients in need of mental health care.
The NHS Emergency and Critical Care Appeal is dedicated to raising £2.5M to enhance patient care and staff welfare in the new Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit.
Door Controls Direct recognizes the urgent need to support the healthcare system and contribute to the well-being of the local community.
"We are honoured to partner with the NHS Emergency and Critical Care Appeal in their mission to enhance emergency care services at Dorset County Hospital," said Gary Hewitt, Managing Director of Door Controls Direct. “We believe it is our responsibility to give back to the community, especially during these challenging times. By focusing our support on the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Suite, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families."
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Suite plays a crucial role in providing specialized care and support for young patients facing mental health challenges. However, limited resources and capacity constraints often hinder the delivery of optimal care. Through its corporate sponsorship, Door Controls Direct seeks to address these challenges by raising funds for major enhancements to the suite, including the expansion of facilities, the addition of specialized equipment, and the recruitment of dedicated staff members.
"We believe that every child and adolescent deserve access to high-quality mental health care in a supportive and nurturing environment," added Jodie Harris, Brand Manager. "By investing in the enhancement of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Suite, we hope to create a safe and welcoming space where young patients can receive the care and support, they need to thrive."
Door Controls Direct encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations to join in its efforts to support the NHS Emergency and Critical Care Appeal and make a positive impact on the lives of patients in need. Whether through donations, fundraising events, or volunteer opportunities, every contribution will help to improve emergency care services and ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.
