The seal will drop automatically when the door closes, sealing gaps beneath doors up to 13mm. 

It has been comprehensively tested to BS EN 1634-1, ensuring compliance with stringent UK fire safety regulations for timber-based door assemblies. Installing the Lorient LAS8001 drop seal supports building compliance, enhancing the overall safety performance of any facility. Fit to single and double doors, right or left handed, that open in one direction only.

Each length can be cut down to the next available size, usually by 100mm. The exception is the 335mm length which can be cut down to 255mm. Do not cut back by more than 100mm as this can impact the operation of the mechanism.
